KH-Bafang Tianshe Series
Traditional office cubicle design often focuses solely on equipment placement and document storage, overlooking the importance of fostering interpersonal interaction. Modern businesses have gradually realized that the office is inherently a place brimming with social possibilities, and that spatial design must effectively support physical interaction between people. The "Happo Field House" series is grounded in this understanding, developing innovative designs based on in-depth research into the impact of seating layout on interpersonal relationships.
Research on interpersonal interactions shows that traditional face-to-face sitting can easily create a sense of distance and wariness, hindering the establishment of a harmonious conversational atmosphere. Sitting side-by-side can also be overly intimate, lacking appropriate personal space. After repeated verification, a 45-degree conversation angle has proven to be the ideal collaborative angle—it maintains natural eye contact while avoiding the pressure of direct gaze. Both parties can easily review documents or screen content together while maintaining a comfortable psychological distance.
The "Eight Squares" design translates this research into an innovative eight-person square table, perfectly blending individual work with team collaboration. Eight users can choose to work independently in four corners, discuss in pairs, or gather around the table for a collective brainstorming session. This flexible and adaptable model transcends the limitations of traditional office cubicles, creating a social space that truly supports modern work styles.
This system is more than just a work table; it's a multifunctional social space: meetings, creative brainstorming, and coffee breaks can all happen naturally here. The specially designed, thick, curved edge doubles as a comfortable backrest when turned outward. The unique diagonal connection feature allows multiple tables to be combined into organic clusters, fostering a unique place spirit and team culture. Employees can focus on internal collaboration within their own team while also easily engaging in cross-team discussions with other groups.
Bafang Tianshe redefines the possibilities of office furniture, transforming areas once considered "leftover space" into vibrant spaces that foster creativity and collaboration. This design concept, centered around human interaction, transforms the office into a true hub for the exchange of ideas, creating a more dynamic work environment for modern businesses.
